Ultimate thrills from around the world

Fast track is one of my favourite programmes on BBC world. I like watching those videos every week. It becomes one of my leisure activities. Everyday life today is much more complicated than in the past. Even in our leisure time we have so many choices about what to do or even what to watch on TV. We are often spoilt for choice. This can leave us feeling confused and dissatisfied. We all know that it is important to get a balance between work and play, but many of us do not succeed. Instead, we make extra pressure for ourselves by trying to be as successful in our work life as in our personal life. My dream is travel around the world and take pictures of all the places. May all my wishes come true.

Aung San Suu Kyi draws crowds on Burma election campaign trail

I think that many people don’t know a lot about my country. If they follow the news carefully, they may know that Myanmar is a poor nation with a good deal of problems. They may know that change is difficult in my country but it is badly needed in many areas. As a young person from Myanmar, I represent to voice of the young people of Myanmar. This is a voice for change that is somewhat difficult to express in my country. Therefore, it may be difficult for people outside of Myanmar to know about the feelings of young people in the country.
Aung San Su Kyi is one of the Burmese who can help to bring the changes in a way appropriate to the culture and needs of Myanmar. As a timid and selfish person, I can not sacrifice my life for freedom like she does but I admire and love her from the bottom of my heart. With this in mind, I hope someday to return to my motherland as a teacher who can work with students help to develop and improve the skills of teachers.
Nowadays, many Burmese citizens are studying around the world for the political factors. Some in actual universities but many in practical life universities. I am very happy and proud to see that many young and old Burmese are speaking a lot of foreign languages as they work in various countries abroad. I hope that once our country gains the independence from the military government and established a Democratic union and started to practice to the free market economy, with the help of US, EU, ASEAN and out intelligent graduates from real life open-universities around the world. At the end, my homeland could launch a rocket-speed rapid development of our country.

Quantum computing could head to "the cloud".

The topic "Quantum computing"  really catches my eyes as a Physics teacher. Quantum Physics is a branch of Physics which explains about objects in more than one state. According to the report, quantum computing has been publicized as the most powerful potential successor to traditional, electronic-based computing. At least communication technology in this digital age hasn't let us down. According to the report, there is a concern about preoccupying quantum Physicists around the world. It is also stated that there are also some advantages and disadvantages about quantum computing.

Call for Welsh Universities to unite on plagiarisim

Most students from Welsh universities want to cut and copy for their assignments from the Net these days according to the news. Teachers are always demanding students own written work. They remind students not to copy material from the Net. There are many strict rules and regulations about plagiarisim. However, students are still cheating from published sources. 98% UK universities have a Turnitin programme to detect cheating. Plagiarism will result from fails or an automatic F grade on a specific assignment to a formal warning or expulsion.

People power 'overlooked by energy policies'

I think our environment is under threat from many different things. We have allowed too much pollution to enter our ecosystem and we are in danger poisoning ourselves as a result. I think soil erosion and water contamination are two of the most urgent problems that we need to deal with.
Clearly our current life style is not sustainable. The government should educate people about the problems and encourage us to change our habits. They need to show everyone that we are putting the very future of our planet at risk.
At least communication technology in this digital age hasn’t let us down. Even in the most remote areas
people have access to some form of communication device. But we shouldn’t forget the people power.
Reducing waste and clearing up pollution costs money. Yet it is our quest for wealth that generates so much of the refuse. There is urgent need to find a way of life that is less damaging to the Earth. This is not easy, but it is vital, because pollution is pervasive and often life-threatening.

Are kids growing out of children's gadgets?

Today, advanced technology has brought many benefits. For example, nowadays, we have many gadgets that can save time in the home. If you have access to a computer and a telephone connection then you can work almost anywhere you choose. What is more, modern software programs are so user friendly. You don't need a great deal of computer knowledge to be able to use them.
In doing so, children are fascinated with touch screen gadgets. Nowadays, students are using i-pod, i-pad, i-phone, play games and write papers on their own blogs. So now let us consider the changes that are likely to occur in the next 20 years. Unfortunately, I believe that not all changes will be for the better.

Saving money through energy efficiency

Title : Saving money through energy efficiency
By Richard Anderson and Damian KahyaBusiness reporters, BBC News
I think our environment is under threat from many different things. We have allowed too much pollution to enter our ecosystem. So we are in danger of poisoning ourselves as a result. I think soil erosion and water contamination are two of the most urgent problems that we need to deal with.
Clearly our current lifestyle is not sustainable. The government should educate people about these problems and encourage us to change our habits. They need to show everyone that we are putting the very future of our planet at risk. It is unrealistic to expect everyone to change their buying habits overnight. When it comes to protecting the environment, cost should be irrelevant. There is an urgent need to find a way of life that is less damaging to the Earth. This is not easy, but it is vital, because pollution is pervasive and often life-threatening.
